This and That, Agave still growing towards the sky
Friends keep saying it will flower, it is now about 4 ft tall not counting the plant its self. It is hard to judge the height, but up it goes.. We have had rain, then sun. Not like some of the quilters I follow who are still deep in snow and cold winds.. The winds have been cold, but not like many of the quilters who are "stuck" to their quilting machines. Ha, Stuck.. sure..
I did finish a piece yesterday, and there is a story behind it... Interested? Please check in soon...
Need to finish flyers for NCQC and get that in the mail. We can't attend this year . Would love to do some Presentations/ Trunk Shows, and classes in Calif. scheduling, after June.. So if you belong to a guild, I will be posting some info, as soon as I finish the updated announcement.
I am a mixed media fiber/quilt artist who loves to work with gourds, and jewelry. I am easily distracted with the next project, and have many going at one time. I have been teaching Fabric Dyeing and Beginning gourd art for many years. I am blessed with my own home studio. We live in the rolling hills near Yosemite National Park, in central Calif. U.S.A. This is a place of Inspiration, Blue Skies and Great Friends. I volunteer with several organizations, and have memberships in P.E.O., Coarsegold Historical So., Sierra Art Trails, Madera Circle Gallery, Yosemite Western Artist, Timberline Gallery and Sierra Mountain Quilters. I teach at my home studio and at local quilt gatherings.
