Quilt Camp

Beautiful grey skies, room full of quilters, the humm of sewing machines, great food. What more can you ask for?  I am binding a quilt I started 20 years ago.  Hope you are enjoying your day.

Timberline Gallery today

It has been a bit quiet today. However, the owners of Alice's Cook House, stopped in, to see what is left of the Show we did for the restaurants.  I had two pieces, one wall hanging that included their menu. But they have changed their food prices, so will add something to that area. Will stop by there and take some photos. So had a sale today.
This piece in the photograph is " World Population". The little square on the left is several prints from my shoe, used hand dyed fabrics. It has traveled to several shows and is now home in the gallery.
It must be about 104f outside, so a little toasty?
Finish packing tomorrow for camp. Hope I remember everything!  Now, that I can blog from my IPad, I will be posting more often, this is fun!  Stay cool!

Packing for Quilt Retreat

I can't decide what to work on for a week at PB,  so packing more than I will ever finish. While looking through my stuff I found quilts tops that need quilting. Where did this year go? I had such plans to be organized, so many ideas that I wanted to follow through and complete.  I am setting goals for next year. Am I starting early or did I just miss this year?
First week end in Oct. is Sierra Art Trails, Judy and I will be at the Coarsegold Historical Museum on Hiwy 41. Don't forget to buy your catalogue. They are beautiful. But more about that later.
Can you see if I forgot anything? Oh, yes clothes!

Ok, now I am testing having Blogger connection with my IPad.  This is a waterlogue photo from my IPad , so far this is progress, couple more buttons to hit and we will see what happens.

Quilt, Knit and Stitch... Portland, Oregon

I was just notified that my quilt Variable Toile Stars, has traveled to the Quilt, Knit and Stitch Show in Portland, Oregon

This quilt might get more miles than we did on our trip.

I really appreciate the ladies that let me and the other quilters know where their quilt is hanging.  It is fun to share.
Sorry, I don't live near there to see the show, but I am sure everyone will have a wonderful time. If you attend, drop me a line to tell all that you bought and saw.
