I will be teaching an Adult Ed Class in Oakhurst, starting Sept.7th. 6 PM - 9 PM. The quilt is approx. 32" X 32" . Kathy Millhollon and I worked on the design and we are open to your creativity also. Kathy completed hers using Red, White and Black. The one in the photo was done with Batiks, and hand dyes. The techniques used are Piecing, English Paper Piecing and Applique.. We will be discussing the various methods, including finishing the quilt. This would make a great little wall hanging, table topper, or gift for the holidays. There are only 12 spaces available, so it is first come. If we have a big demand we will see about a follow up class. Check with me if you are interested, or contact Yosemite Adult Ed for signing up and additional information.
This is a 6 meeting class, with a little homework, sewing machine in good working order is important. The class is $75.00 paid to the Adult Ed. The pattern will be given in the class, you chose your own fabrics and this can be discussed at the first class if there is any question. This is going to be fun with lots of sharing of ideas.

I have been teaching Fabric Dyeing and Beginning gourd art for many years. I am blessed with my own home studio. We live in the rolling hills near Yosemite National Park, in central Calif. U.S.A. This is a place of Inspiration, Blue Skies and Great Friends. I volunteer with several organizations, and have memberships in P.E.O., Coarsegold Historical So., Sierra Art Trails, Madera Circle Gallery, Yosemite Western Artist, Timberline Gallery and Sierra Mountain Quilters. I teach at my home studio and at local quilt gatherings.
