Sorry to be away so long. The beginning of the year is always hectic. Annual physicals, tax papers, shows to schedule, and pieces to work on in the studio.. although honestly did not get there that much.. And also a weeks quilting retreat, but more about that later.
Our daffodils are up and looking beautiful, I love Spring, on one hand the flowers are popping out, but so are the weeds, and they grow faster then the flowers..
Being a participant this year with One World One Heart also took me a ways from my personal blog world. It was so much fun to meet new bloggers and hopefully some will become good friends. We are of one world and lets keep our hearts joined in peace.
I am a mixed media fiber/quilt artist who loves to work with gourds, and jewelry. I am easily distracted with the next project, and have many going at one time. I have been teaching Fabric Dyeing and Beginning gourd art for many years. I am blessed with my own home studio. We live in the rolling hills near Yosemite National Park, in central Calif. U.S.A. This is a place of Inspiration, Blue Skies and Great Friends. I volunteer with several organizations, and have memberships in P.E.O., Coarsegold Historical So., Sierra Art Trails, Madera Circle Gallery, Yosemite Western Artist, Timberline Gallery and Sierra Mountain Quilters. I teach at my home studio and at local quilt gatherings.
