When we had all completed putting the fabric and dyes in our jars, we sat down to lunch. Everyone brought something to add to the lettuce, variety of salad dressings, and lots of toppings. We had lemonade, and cookies for dessert. I feel this is a great way for ladies to get to know each other and share ideas. I always learn from the classes. Peggy is wearing her hand dyed apron from a previous class.
I am a mixed media fiber/quilt artist who loves to work with gourds, and jewelry. I am easily distracted with the next project, and have many going at one time. I have been teaching Fabric Dyeing and Beginning gourd art for many years. I am blessed with my own home studio. We live in the rolling hills near Yosemite National Park, in central Calif. U.S.A. This is a place of Inspiration, Blue Skies and Great Friends. I volunteer with several organizations, and have memberships in P.E.O., Coarsegold Historical So., Sierra Art Trails, Madera Circle Gallery, Yosemite Western Artist, Timberline Gallery and Sierra Mountain Quilters. I teach at my home studio and at local quilt gatherings.
